This website recalls the almost unbelievable trek from Okmulgee to the State Championship Game in Norman in the fall of 1947, As told by some of the players and their families

- The biggest guy weighed 187 pounds. Taking on the bigger teams, though, were no big thing to these guys. They had heart
- The Games
- Almost the entire town of 30,000 if not in person at Harmon Field, were glued to their radios every Friday night that fall as the Bulldogs got closer and closer to the playoffs
- The Coach
- Edgar Brady drove his boys hard, yet every player honored and respected this man. Brady coached the team almost by himself, unlike the coaches today who seem to have a dozen assistants on the sidelines and in the booth
